WordPress release version 2.6

Wordpress have just released version 2.6, it contains a number of new features that make WordPress a more powerful CMS: you can now track changes to every post and page and easily post from wherever you are on the web, plus there are dozens of incremental improvements to the features introduced in version 2.5.

They’ve prepared a brief video tour of 2.6, if you have 3 minutes and 29 seconds to spare, it’s worth a watch:

I've just updated this Bookkeeping Site & the process went very smoothly following the extended upgrade instructions.

I had only made on small change to a "core" WordPress file, I knew exactly where this change was so that took a few seconds. The only other thing I had to look up was the API Key for the WordPress.com Stats plugin, so make sure you have this handy.

I would be happy to upgrade your site to this latest version if you are nervous, please feel free to Contact Me to discuss your needs, if you are just upgrading from 2.5.1 to 2.6 & have made no changes to core files it will cost you just $25.00 for me to upgrade for you.
